Day 1 - Depart USA
Board your overnight flight (not included).

Day 2 to Day 3 - Athens City of the Gods
Welcome to Athens, the enchanting capital of Greece where democracy was born and considered the cradle of western civilization! You are met at the airport and transferred to your tour hotel. Later, join your fellow travellers for a Welcome drink. In the morning your sightseeing tour reveals the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of the Wingless Victory and Hadrian’s Arch. The highlight is a visit to the Parthenon, built atop the mighty Acropolis. The afternoon is at leisure.(B)

Day 4 to Day 10 - Cruising to Turkey and the Greek Isles
Transfer to the port of Lavrion to board your cruise ship and set sail for the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Cruise through the Dardanelles in the early hours to arrive in Istanbul, where you have a full day to explore as you wish! As evening descends, sail along the Bosphorus to start your overnight voyage. Arrive Mykonos mid afternoon, with its maze of walkways, winding streets, whitewashed houses, magnificent windmills and uninhibited nightlife. You have the option of spending the night on the island if you wish! Otherwise your cruise ship departs at midnight for Lavrion, returning to Mykonos late afternoon the next day, to collect those who stayed on the island. Sail on through the night once more to Patmos, where St John wrote the Book of Revelation, and then dock at the Turkish port of Kusadasi where there is the option of visiting Ephesus. The next day is devoted to Rhodes, ‘the island of roses’, chosen by the Crusaders for their fortified headquarters. In the morning drop anchor at the picturesque island of Crete. Perhaps take an optional excursion to the Palace of King Minos? Your final port of call is the island of Santorini, famous for its white cuboid houses that cling to the sheer cliffs. While cruising, expert chefs and well-trained staff serve local specialties, an exquisite variety of Mediterranean dishes as well as flavours, aromas and spices from around the world. Breakfast (BB), Lunch (L), Dinner (D), and Supper (S) is served on board daily. During your voyage there is also a fun-filled Greek Evening and Dinner with entertainment.(B,L,D,S)

Day 11 - Athens
Disembark in Lavrion and return to your Athens tour hotel for time at leisure.(B)

Day 12 - Return to USA
Bid farewell to Athens. There are transfers to the airport.(B)

• Athens: Ascend the Acropolis to the Parthenon. See the Royal Palace, Agora Hadrian’s Arch & Temple of Zeus.
• Cruising: Visit the Greek Islands of Mykonos, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete & Santorini. Visit the Turkish ports of Istanbul & Izmir.
